Sure, it's still 19 degrees and we've only just about gotten used to schools traffic returning. But that won't stop the Christmas stockings and novelty pillows filling the aisles of department stores across the country. I'm starting to think the best thing for us to do is just lob on a Santa hat and get on board with it all.
We spotted some Christmas bits on the shelves at Dunnes Stores during the big shop yesterday - we're talking candles, we're talking tea towels, we're talking USA biscuit tins, people. Exciting news for those who did their Christmas shopping during the January sales and have already begun sneakily taking decorations down from the attic, but a tad anxiety-inducing for all of us last minute people.
