Huge antique auction will feature a taxidermy bison, a 19th-century Madonna and Child, and more

On the lookout for some truly rare finds?

For any history buffs, an upcoming auction called The Medussa Architectural & Antique Sale will feature a range of eclectic goods following the closure of collector hub Medussa. This closure means an unprecedented collection of items will be auctioned off. Victor Mee auction house are hosting, the same one that held an auction last month that featured movie set items from the likes of Braveheart, Disenchanted, and Vikings: Valhalla.

From an iconic 1930s dentist's table, a whimsical taxidermy bison with a drinks cabinet, and the imposing Texas Longhorn Bull, each piece narrates a distinct historical tale.

Other highlighted lots include a St. Anthony figure, a 19th-century Madonna and Child, an oak and brass ticket booth, and iron deck cannons. The sale also features a brass and metal distillery pump, a driftwood bar counter, a Bone Shaker Bicycle, and Lady Lavery collectable coins and notes.

Victor Mee has said this of the upcoming auction, which he will host alongside Bryan and Katy Mee: "It's not just an auction; it's a celebration of history, craftsmanship, and the eternal charm of antiques. We are excited to offer such an eclectic mix that showcases the beauty and versatility of antiques, proving they are timeless pieces that fit modern tastes and stand the test of time."

The Medussa Architectural and Antique Sale kicks off on November 21st at 5:30pm and runs until November 23rd. If you wish to do a viewing ahead of the auction, one will take place on Sunday, November 19th between 10am and 5pm at Derrys Ltd in County Armagh.
