Well, have we got news for you.
An actual Cuddle Party is taking place in the lovely surroundings of Bray today - inviting all to come and (literally) embrace the day ahead.
The event, which you can see here , states:
''Cuddle Party PLUS! - the next level of Cuddle Parties. You asked for it, you’ve got it!
By popular demand – and available only to those who have been to two or more official Cuddle Parties – we bring you an afternoon of a wider range of cuddle experiences than ever before.
Instead of just turning you loose to freeform cuddle, this special event will walk you through many different connection and consent exercises. When you are done, you will have more tools in your communication toolbox to express what feels good and what doesn’t, to ask for what you want, set boundaries, and to get your needs met.
Cuddle Party PLUS! is a social laboratory that will gently challenge you to explore and step into greater self-awareness, vulnerability, and deeper intimacy with yourself and others through a series of fun games and structured participation.
This unique opportunity will allow you to

The Official Cuddle Party takes place at 1.30pm in Bray, County Wicklow today, and will go on for several hours.
