This Traffic Garda’s Hiding Spot In Cork Is One Of The Sneakiest We’ve Seen Yet

We haven't used the granny-shield since the early 90s, but looks like it's still as effective as ever. 

It's a traffic garda's job to make sure he's as inconspicuous as possible when out scouting for speeders. 

But this lad in Cork took subtlety to a whole new level this week when he tucked himself into a bus stop behind a lady who is now inadvertently complicit in catching rogue drivers. 

The photo, in which said Garda looks absolutely chuffed with himself, was shared on Reddit and is getting plenty of traction.

One commenter summed it all up when he wrote: 

'TV show pitch: "Garda & Nana"; he's a hard-boiled detective, she's a badass granny. Together, they'll light a candle and say a prayer for you, before they kick your ass.'
