Sunshine and 99s - is there a better combination? We don't think so.
Here's a list of the top spots to get the best 99s this summer.
Regular or large, you just can't bate a 99 from Fitzpatrick's.
One facebook user posted: "The original and serving in cork for over 20years !! My favourite spot when I’m home !!!!!"
These guys have been making ice cream since 1912 so you know it's good.
One fan wrote on their wall and tagged her friend saying: You might be in Portugal Maureen but the ice cream is nicer here mmmmmm
Just FYI, Maureen didn't disagree.
We have it on good authority that P. O' Neill's 99s are some of the best in the county.
One woman brought her daughter to try out their 99s as soon as she could, that's what you call a loyal customer.
Teddy's has done a roaring trade in Dublin's south side since the 1950's.
Some say their 99's are the stuff of legends.
The Teddy's ice cream van even visited a nursing home recently to bring one resident "the best 99s in Ireland" on her 99th birthday.

Right on the promenade on Salthill, the Creamery is a clear favourite among Galwegians.
Ed Sheeran is known to enjoy one of their 99s from time to time too.
This family newsagents has been delighting the locals with their 99s for years. You won't find them on facebook though, word of mouth is how this shop made the list.
This beloved local shop also known as Nearbuy, John's and Mikey's serves some of the some of the biggest 99s in the South East according to the locals.

How could we write about 99s without mentioning Ross' filling station in Meath?
They're feckin' MAHOOSIVE.
The two founders of Gelati won the prize for the best gelato flavours at the Sigep Rimini trade show in Italy in 2016 so you know their 99s are fantastic.
Everybody in Waterford knows Jaybees and more importantly everyone knows Jaybees for their fantastic ice cream.
Take it from a local, their 99s are LIT.
Many Wexfordians believe the 99s from Henry Hayes' in Campile are the best in the world.
They dyed their ice cream for Paddy's day and we are all about that.
