What a glorious time to be alive.

It seems everything is getting more expensive these days from house prices and petrol to pints and Freddos. Even the humble but mighty 99 is unfortunately subject to inflation, making the nation's favourite ice cream very costly in some places throughout the country.

And because of this, we'd like to thank the ice cream gods for bestowing Duffy's Supervalu in Roscommon upon us.

Knowing we're all partial to a 99 whenever the weather is good, they have knocked down the price to 50 cents.

Yes, that right. 50 cent.
