If your 80th birthday is this much craic you'll be doing well.
Last night, RTÉ paid tribute to John Sheahan as the Dubliners legend marked 80 years on the planet with some of his most talented friends.
He was joined on
The Late Late Show by the likes of Damien Dempsey and Declan O'Rourke and they treated to the nation to a legendary session in a mock-up pub, complete with a round of pints of course.
Towards the end, John's daughter and newborn granddaughter appeared and if that didn't have him welling up enough, host Ryan Tubridy read out a birthday message from President Higgins.
