It sounds like the talented international cast had a lot of fun in this bar!
With some cinemas around the country
set to open this week, movie lovers are probably looking forward to seeing some brand new releases on the big screen, and one of those new movies due to arrive this week is Pixie.
Pixie was filmed all along the picturesque northern coasts of Ireland, and it tells the story of the titular character (Oliver Cooke - Ready Player One), who wants to avenge her mother’s death by masterminding a heist, but plans go sideways and she soon finds herself on the run with two young men (Ben Hardy - Bohemian Rhapsody, Daryl McCormack - Peaky Blinders) who are way out of their depth being chased across the wild Irish countryside by gangsters.
The movie also stars Alec Baldwin (30 Rock), Colm Meaney (The Snapper), Dylan Moran (Black Books), Ned Dennehy (Dublin Murders), Chris Walley (The Young Offenders), Pat Shortt (Father Ted), and even more besides.
We were lucky enough to chat to the central trio in the run-up to the movie's release, but before we get into that, why not check out the trailer, and then the movie itself, when Pixie is released in Irish cinemas from Friday, December 4.

So with the talented, international cast and crew filming the comedy thriller all over the island, we wanted to know where there any particular nights out or favourite bars that they hit up during the shoot?
Olivia Cooke weighed in with her favourite night out during filming:
"We had a night where we had finished work [for the day], and then we went to a restaurant, and then we found this pub where they were doing an ukulele night, where it was just a group of twenty people on their ukuleles, and we were just like 'Oh my God, this is amazing, this is so Irish!', and then we got drunk.
"And then we went to ... a club? That I think was called... Filthy McNasty's. Yeah, and then we stayed out too late on a school night. But it was fun!"
We also chatted about how difficult it is to nail the Irish accent, the similarities to a certain Mexican road trip movie, and their favourite scenes from their new movie. Check out the interview in full right here:
