Always a solid choice for an evening's entertainment, First Dates Ireland has long been delighting fans with daters' on-screen antics.
Back on telly boxes once again last night, viewers were particularly taken with one couple who have proven to be quite a hit on Twitter.
Known for accommodating daters across quite a wide age bracket, the couple in question were pensioners Mary and 'Mad' Johnny from Co Tipp. Both looking for love, they were well matched and I think it's safe to say the whole country was rooting for them.
