The Ireland Women's Hockey team came face to face with a slimy, slobbering hairball yesterday. But before they met Piers Morgan, they ran into President Michael D. Higgins' dog at Áras an Uachtaráin.

Yep, The Late Late Show returned to our screens last night and brought together our Women's Hockey World Cup runners-up and the controversial English journalist.
Piers being the social media aficionado that he is, he posed for a pic with the first Irish team to ever reach a field sport World Cup Final. Of course he couldn't resist making it all about him.
