RTÉ 2fm presenter Eoghan McDermott has confirmed that he'll be joining up with Love Island Australia later this year.
The star took to Instagram to announce that he'll be heading off to Majorca as the narrator for the first edition of the Aussie version of the massively popular ITV show. He captioned the post by stating that he auditioned a few months ago and is looking forward to meeting up with host Sophie Monk:
'Majorca here I come! Delighted to be joining the ITV family as the narrator of Love Island Australia! I sat up one night at the kitchen table months ago writing the audition script & had such a blast.
Iain Sterling absolutely made the UK series, it was such a huge reason the show was a success, so I'm chuffed that the Oz crew liked what I was at and it's actually come to pass. Gonna be a hectic & brilliant summer!
Looking forward to meeting Sophie Monk! Onwards!'
