It has been announced that The Weeknd will be the lead performer at the Halftime show of Super Bowl LV, due to take place on February 7, 2021. The singer has had several huge hits over the years, including Can't Feel My Face, Blinding Lights, Heartless, and In Your Eyes, and while his most recent album After Hours was released just a few months ago to great reviews, he has already teased the arrival of a new album coming soon, telling Rolling Stone the following: "I might have another album ready to go by the time this quarantine is over. I’m guilty of wanting to outdo my last album. But it’s never like, ‘I’ve got to do the same type of song.’ I’m so happy I’m not like that.
