Kim Kardashian is a well-known Bridgerton megafan so you can imagine her excitement when she was contacted by one of its stars last night.

Nicola Coughlan, who plays Penelope Featherington in Bridgerton, got in touch with Kim Kardashian on Wednesday evening, telling her that "the Kardashians were a massive inspiration for the Featheringtons and we talked about them all the time during our fittings." Unsurprisingly, Bridgerton's number one fan was excited by this and told her near 70 million followers that she was "freaking out" to have been given this information by the Derry Girls star. She then asked if she could come to a costume fitting, to which Nicola of course replied "yes." https://twitter.com/KimKardashian/status/1384560332744511491 That was just the beginning as Kim then found out that the two shared a corset designer, to which she said 'OMG I’m gonna faint!!!!!! Does this make me an honorary Duchess in Bridgerton?' https://twitter.com/KimKardashian/status/1384607505922215942 We feel like these two would have a lot to catch up on if they ever meet up in person. Sadly for Kim, it looks like she'll have to wait until at least the end of 2021 for the next series of her favourite show. But this little online exchange with one of its stars should keep her satisfied for a while.
