Kim Kardashian is a well-known Bridgerton megafan so you can imagine her excitement when she was contacted by one of its stars last night.

Nicola Coughlan, who plays Penelope Featherington in Bridgerton, got in touch with Kim Kardashian on Wednesday evening, telling her that "the Kardashians were a massive inspiration for the Featheringtons and we talked about them all the time during our fittings." Unsurprisingly, Bridgerton's number one fan was excited by this and told her near 70 million followers that she was "freaking out" to have been given this information by the Derry Girls star. Sadly for Kim, it looks like she'll have to wait until at least the end of 2021 for the next series of her favourite show. But this little online exchange with one of its stars should keep her satisfied for a while.
