Bella Ramsey has left fans baffled by their food choices.
The Last of US star revealed an unusual combination of foods they enjoy during a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter. The British actor, who plays Ellie in the hit series, sat down with cast mate Pedro Pascal.
The 19-year-old let slip during the interview that they pour orange juice, rather than milk over their cornflakes.
The stars were asked what was the last thing they ate.
Bella replied: “Mine was cornflakes and bran with dried strawberries in…with orange juice on top instead of milk.”
“It was like, cornflakes and bran with dried strawberries, and orange juice on top. Instead of milk.”
A shocked Pedro then questioned Bella: “Orange juice?”
They replied: “So good. There once wasn’t milk I could drink, there wasn’t oat milk or almond milk, so I just tried orange juice on it. Years ago! And I loved it. And it’s been a thing ever since.”
Pedro wasn’t done there, and quizzed Bella further on how the concoction went down: “How’s it on your tummy?”
Bella answered: “Actually fine!” Are you thinking what I’m thinking? Exactly… does it actually taste good?
Twitter is somewhat divided over the choice.
Meanwhile, Bella on Friday wished her childhood self a happy Trans Day of Visibility in a poignant tweet on Friday.
Bella came out as non-binary in January this year but has elected to use she/her pronouns, saying she doesn’t mind what pronouns are used for her.
“Happy TDOV to this little dude!” Bella tweeted alongside a photo of her younger self.
“I didn’t know the word non-binary in this picture. But I knew what it meant. Inherently. Because I always was, and always will be. Lotsa love to all of my trans, enby and gender funky friends. #TransDayOfVisibility.”
