WATCH: This Harrowing Music Video Shows The Devastating Consequences Of Bullying

We have heard many stories through the years of the heartbreaking consequences of bullying yet it still seems to continue. With the rise of social media, it has become more toxic and victims find it hard to escape.

Last night a music video was released telling the tragic story of Nicole (Coco) Fox Fenlon, who endured years of brutal bullying and as a result, took her own life in January 2018. The mother of the 21-year-old told her story in the hope of sending a message to others out there - Bullying needs to stop.

The video includes music from Irish band, Keywest, and was created by Irish filmmaker, Gerard Walsh. It tells the story of one of Coco's last nights out and how she was treated by her peers. Her mother narrates throughout and explains how she found her daughter after committing suicide in her home early this year.

It deals with sensitive thems involving suicide and bullying and viewer discretion is advised.

Jackie, Coco's mother has launched a campaign to bring in laws against cyber-bullying to Ireland. She will be hosting a benefit night for her daughter on May 26th in Dublin Postal Sports and Social Club. If you would like to donate or attend click here.

This harrowing story is difficult to watch but it is important to spread the word and highlight that this is still an issue.
