Halloween is a time that is full of fun, spooks and scares, but lets face it, we always end up in some random club in town packed like sardines and having a fairly grim time.
So why not hightail it on down to Galway?
This year Galway Food Tours is celebrating Halloween in their own unique style, with a mystery food tour throughout Galway city, and it sounds feckin' delightful.
The Mystery Tours will run on Thursday 26th October and Thursday 2nd of November at 6pm, the exact venues will be kept secret but will be in walking distance throughout central Galway City Centre and around the westend area.
At the four mystery venues, it will be a celebration of local foods and of course there will be plenty of tasty tipples to whet your appetite throughout the evening. YUM.
A feast of wine and cheese, Poitin and storytelling around an open fire, sampling of signature drinks and desserts, board games and some spooky ghost stories as the food tour moves through the streets of Galway.
“Halloween is such a fun holiday and we wanted to celebrate it this year with some spook! We have four really cool venues on board and the food and drink pairing along with some games and goulish stories will make for a night out over Halloween with a difference,” explained Sheena Dignam of Galway Food Tours.
