This Boutique Country House Has Been Named ‘Irish Hotel Of The Year 2018’

Viewmount House, Co Longford took home the prestigious award of Irish Hotel of the Year at the 2018 Good Hotel Guide César Awards, which is the leading independent hotel guide in the UK.

The Good Hotel Guide commended Viewmount on its ‘cleverly designed, well-maintained gardens’ on the outskirts of town, saying that the Georgian mansion has ‘uninterrupted views’ of the surrounding land, and a ‘cheerful ambiance'.
