Camping holidays (if the weather is like it is right now anyway) are genuinely some of the best craic you'll ever experience.
Whether it's with a big gang of mates or just you and boo, roasting the shit out of sausages on a DIY campfire (although a small cooking stove is a better idea if you don't have experience of lighting safe outdoor fires!) and watching the sun rise from your tent is a memory you'll never forget.
All you need is some warm blankets, a few cans and never-ending patience when it comes to tent poles and your summer hollier is sorted - and for cheap too.

This eco-friendly campsite riiiight by the beach in Clifden between the Atlantic and the Twelve Bens is all about good clean craic.
There's a free shuttle bus to Clifden village, but you won't want to leave the secluded white sand.

This family apple farm has hot showers, pretty orchards, and a big converted apple store for cooking and hanging out in.
Located right at the entrance to Roaringwater Bay, this is the ideal spot for camping with a bitta comfort.
