The cold weather is officially setting in, which means one thing: you need a cosy escape with all the gang before Christmas.
Vino by the roaring fire, walks in the mountains in the morning to freshen the head and a huge fry up back at the gaff are the kind of moments that will make you feel as though you've really escaped the rat-race of Dublin, even if it is only for a weekend.
This bright and beautifully decorated house is surrounded by the Wicklow Mountains and overlooks the stunning Blessington Lakes, sleeping 10 people comfortably.
The house can be booked from €275 a night, so if you're a group of 10 people you're looking at a weekend away in Wicklow for about 50 quid each for two nights.
There's also apparently two great local pubs nearby, within walking distance, and Lacken itself is a busy local town with supermarkets, chemist, banks, pubs and restaurants. Bike hire and fishing licences also available.
This sounds like the most relaxing getaway ever...
