Strandhill is the new Summer Bay, hadn't you heard?

  Years of watching Australian soap Home and Away have made me more than a little interested in the art of surfing. Having only experienced it once in my teens in Lahinch (where I nearly drowned when a friend accidentally surfed over my head) I cannot truly say I've had the real pleasure as of yet. But if you, like me, have always been curious about surfing, then a trip to Strandhill in Sligo for one of an all women's surf retreat may just be the thing for you. There will be two retreats available with 16 spots on each, one from the 22nd-26th August, and another from the 29th August to the 2nd September. These retreats are suitable no matter your skill level. Retreats cost €1850, but there's currently an early bird offer running for €1650 (until the 4th July).
