You know those days when you've just had enough of everyone and want to run away into the wilderness?
Yep, us too.
These days, it can be hard to find somewhere that is a true escape and will allow you to clear your head and relax.
But worry not, as we've found an amazing hotel that isn't even on the mainland.
Inis Meáin Restaurant & Suites is located on the least developed of the Aran Islands and is described as a "remote refuge" that makes the most of its striking surroundings.
Just 5km by 3km, the island is what estate agents would describe as "cosy and compact" but you won't be bored, as there are opportunities for fishing, hiking, cycling, historical sight-seeing or Atlantic swimming - if you're feeling brave!
The website of the hotel describes the facility as unique and for once, it's completely accurate.
In a wild rugged setting, local native Ruairí and Marie-Thérèse de Blacam have created a sanctuary where guests can enjoy an "escapism experience from modern life ".
There are five suites, which are available from April to September each year, and each has a 10m wall of glass to showcase the panoramic views of the island and sea.
There is a minimum two-night stay for guests but we're guessing that won't be too much of an issue for anyone who arrives at the reclusive site.
Food is another major focus for Ruairí and Marie-Thérèse, who have carried the ethos of the hotel's design into the menu also.
The focus is firmly on showcasing the produce that surrounds them, with vegetables, salads and herbs grown on-site and fresh shellfish caught off the coast.
The menu is served to a maximum of 16 guests at 8pm and changes nightly, although all dishes adhere to the 'elemental eating' philosophy of only including two elements per course.
While this is a new one on us, the sample dishes of Jesusalem Artichoke with White Truffle and Lobster with Beetroot & Baby Leeks sound pretty tempting!
