The Best Airline In Europe Has Been Revealed

TripAdvisor has named the best airline in Europe for 2017 and it may surprise a few. 

The winner was Russia's largest airline Aeroflot which finished ahead of Turkish Airlines in second place and KLM in third. 

Aer Lingus was the only Irish airline to make the top 10 which is listed as follows:

1. Aeroflot
2. Turkish Airlines
3. KLM
4. Lufthansa
5. Swiss
6. Virgin Atlantic
7. Finnair
8. Austrian Airlines
9. Aer Lingus
10. Icelandair

Alongside the European list, TripAdvisor also named the top 10 airlines in the world. Emirates came out on top ahead of ahead of Singapore Airlines and, surprisingly, Brazilian budget airline Azul. 

The top 10 airlines in the world are: 

1. Emirates
2. Singapore Airlines
3. Azul
4. JetBlue
5. Air New Zealand
6. Korean Air
7. Japan Airlines
8. Thai Smile
9. Alaska Airlines
10. Garuda Indonesia
