If you're apprehensive when it comes to travelling, this list of the safest countries in 2017 should put your mind at ease.
The nations of the world have been ranked by the World Economic Forum to determine the likelihood a country will expose tourists and businesses to risks like violence and terrorism.
At the bottom of the list of 136 countries were Colombia, Yemen and El Salvador.
Unfortunately for Ireland, we just missed getting into the top 20 safest countries, coming in at 21. The UK came in at 78.
