Easter shall soon be upon us.
And while some people may have their eyes on massive Cadbury and Kinder Bueno easter eggs (and rightly so), there are others who would prefer something a lil less guilty...
Discount Supplements, a sport’s nutrition company in Wicklow, have just created the perfect egg for gym lovers, health food enthusiasts and coeliacs.
This hand-crafted dark chocolate egg contains 26g (!!!) of protein, is gluten free and tastes surprisingly delicious.
Hallelujah!
While we've seen various other companies come out with Easter eggs that come with protein bars over the years, this is the first one to actually contain protein in the egg itself.
Anyone who has tried to eat healthy knows that holidays such as Easter and Christmas can throw you completely off track and we end up feeling really guilty after indulging in too much high sugar foods.
This egg is the perfect solution and with well under 1 percent sugar — AND it still tastes deadly with a cup of tea!
It'll be available next week from their website or from their stores in Dublin on Camden Street, in Terenure and Clondalkin or from their Kilcoole branch.
