Brought to you by Square.
Autumn is here, and we're embracing Samhain more than ever this year, with a host of thrilling events on across the next few weeks.
One we've got our eye on is the A Scoop and A Yarn event taking place on November 8th and 9th.
Scoop Food Magazine brings its food storytelling event, Scoop & a Yarn, to Samhain Festival of Food & Culture this November in partnership with Ireland’s premier payment solution company, Square.
Together, they’ll be powering conversations across two days in an intimate marquee setting in the heart of Sheridan’s Irish Food Fair.
We Irish are known for being gifted storytellers, so we know this event won't disappoint.
This is one event you cannot miss out on this autumn, so make sure to pencil it in your calendar. A Scoop and A Yarn takes place from 11 am-5 pm on Saturday, 8th, and 11.30 am-4 pm on Sunday, 9th November.
The full schedule will be revealed soon, and there's no doubt it will be incredible.
Food, drink, and a packed programme of events - Samhain Festival of Food and Culture has it all.

Taking place from November 6–9 in Kells, County Meath, the festival celebrates the very best of Irish food and culture, featuring the renowned Sheridans Irish Food Fair, Coldplay by Candlelight, The Samhain Literary Pub Crawl, Hogans Farm Walk & Talk, An Ode to Lord Henry, and much more.
Sponsored by Square, the festival is part of the company’s wider commitment to supporting Irish food entrepreneurs and events that bring the culinary community together.
From initiatives like Dee Laffan’s Scoop & a Yarn to local food festivals across the country, Square champions small businesses, great conversations, and meaningful connections across Ireland’s vibrant food scene.
The Sheridan's food fair, which will be held across November 8 and 9, is accessible via your Samhain Festival pass, and showcases Ireland’s top artisan food and drink producers where visitors can meet with almost 100 makers from across Ireland.

The full spectrum of Ireland’s food scene is on show with immersive food and drink tasting events, allowing guests to savor local and national flavors while learning from some of Ireland’s top chefs and producers.
The festival is also suitable for families with little ones who can enjoy engaging kids’ workshops and activities.
The Samhain Festival is proudly supported by Square — not just a payment provider, but a true partner to Ireland’s food entrepreneurs. Square is deeply invested in the people, culture, and creativity that make Ireland’s food scene a global standout. Join us at the Samhain Festival to see how Square helps small food businesses flourish, sparking great conversations and meaningful connections along the way.
