If you haven't been to Kenmare, then we highly recommend you put it top on your list for a little escape this year.
Feel like some fresh seafood, craft beer and world famous views? Look no further my friend.
Kenmare's Irish name, Neidin, means 'little nest' and once you visit, you'll realise why.
This idyllic town is perfectly located for exploring the Ring of Kerry, with lots of walking trails to wander in the mountains.
With plenty of quaint cafes, lively pubs, and plush hotels, here's just some of the reasons why Kenmare is one of our favourite spots in the country.
Situated right on Kenmare Bay, the views of the sun setting are out of this world.

If you're still a huuuge Harry Potter fan (as any sane person is), then you'll appreciate that the Irish Quidditch team mentioned in The Order of the Phoenix, Kenmare Kestrels, is meant to be from this town.
A nice little place for a pint of Guinness and some trad music, Crowley's has all the charm without the overcrowding of tourists.

Kenmare Farmers Market takes place from 10am-4pm every Wednesday in the Square.
