Finding something healthy to drink that isn’t water these days is pretty tough. You are bombarded by a constant garage of advertising from the various sports drinks the vast majority of which are just packed full of sugar. I’d stick to water myself for working out had I not come up with this little recipe featuring match (read all about it here if you don’t know about it yet) and a whole bunch of other goodness. This is perfect for either the gym or as a tonic when you start feeling a little sick. Lash these in to you and you’ll be bouncing off the walls. Oh last thing to mention is that it speeds up your metabolism and makes you lose weight! Wonder drink or fucking what!!!
You'll want a nice cold bottle of water. Drink half of it and make the drink within that bottle so there isn't even any washing up or anything like that! Win!
Cut the lemons and limes in half. They are packed full of vitamic C! That is why this is also good if you are sick!
Squeeze the lime in to a jug.
Do the same with the lemon and make sure not to have any of the little bastarding pips in there.
Get every last drop out of the fruit and leave it in the jug.
Crack one berocca tablet in half and squeeze both halves in to the bottle.
Pour all of the citrus juice in to the bottle. Don't waste a fucking drop!
Get a nice big heaped teaspoon of matcha powder.
Careful put it in to the bottle. This bit is tricky and it is fucking expensive stuff so be careful.
Watch it all start fizzing for a couple of seconds.
Give the bottle as big a shake as you possibly can for about 30 seconds.
Thats it ready to drink. Apart from the fact that it looks revolting it is amazingly good for you and actually tastes pretty wicked.
So there you go a drink that is going to have you working out like you never have before. The mixture of vitamin C and the matcha will give you so much energy that you will literally think you are about to burst! Lash one of these in to you every single day of the week and you’ll be laughing.
