Super Easy Cheesy Mushrooms on Toast

Ingredients

Brown mushrooms
Bread
Parmesan cheese (grated)
Cream
Butter
Salt & pepper

While mushrooms on toast may sound like a bit of a random meal, this really is so tasty.

So gooey, creamy and cheesy. I like it for brunch or even a quick post-work dinner when I couldn't be arsed cooking.

I think this is pretty amazing on its own, but it's also extra mouth-watering with a gooey fried or poached egg on top. Bacon goes really well with this too. Or both!

Instructions

Step 1

Slice up the mushrooms finely... pretty easy.

Step 2

Fry the mushrooms until nice, golden and soft and then throw in a splash of cream.

Fry Mushrooms Until Golden Brown Then Add Cream

Step 3

After a few minutes season generously with salt, pepper and stir a handful of the grated cheese. Taste and season more if needed.

Season With Salt And Pepper And Add Cheese

Step 4

Serve on your toasted buttered bread and eat immediately!
