You Can Finally Delete Sent Messages In Whatsapp And It’s Actually Life Saving

There's genuinely nothing worse than waking up the morning after the night before, checking your phone, and realising: oh FUCK.

You've only gone and Whatsapped yer man who you were absolutely mad about but for some reason has ignored you for the last week. Great. 

But now, Whatsapp have introduced a lifesaving feature

If you update your app to the latest version, you can now FINALLY delete messages. No more drunk texting regret.

Now, there is a catch (as always in this miserable millennial life of ours): for the moment, you can only delete messages up to seven minutes after you've sent it.

So you're going to have to get into the habit on a night out of making a quick decision about whether or not that message was the right idea...

Users will see "this message has been deleted" for Android users and "this message has been recalled" for iOS users.

Still, a brilliant step forward.
