Weekend Temperatures To Reach 30 Degrees And Next Chance Of Rain According To Met Éireann Won’t Be For Another Ten Days

We've actually gotten to the stage now where if we even felt a raindrop on our heads, we'd probably just melt out of shock.

You know it's hot, we know it's hot and although you don't want to say it, at times it's been too fecking hot.

But we'd have it over the rain any day and that's why Met Éireann have supplied some good news by saying that there is no forecasted rain for at least the next ten days.

That means, long periods of dry spells until at least Saturday week, 14 July.

As well as this, the people over at weather.com - a really cool map which outlines the hotspots of Ireland during this mini-heatwave - is forecasting temperatures to step well into the 30 degrees mark over the weekend.

For the immediate future, however, the weather looks something like this:

"Thursday will be generally cloudier and a little cooler for the north and west with highs of 17 to 22 degrees and occasional light rain or drizzle during the morning.

"Much of Leinster and Munster will be warm again with hazy sunshine and highest temperatures of 22 to 26 degrees.

"Mainly dry on Friday and becoming warmer in northern parts with maximum temperatures recovering into the low twenties. Highs in the mid-twenties, generally, further south, warmest in the midlands.

"The day will bring a mix of cloud interspersed with warm sunny periods. Isolated light showers may develop in the afternoon, though the risk is considered to be quite low at this stage, with largely dry conditions prevailing. Winds generally light, with sea breezes developing, keeping the coasts a little cooler. "

But the moral of the story is: NO RAIN FOR TEN DAYS, YIPPEE.
