Weather Chaos – This Warning Has Been Issued For Three Counties Ahead Of The Weekend

It wouldn't be Ireland without a bit of rain, but even we have our limits.

Met Éireann has issued a weather warning for Galway, Cork and Kerry this weekend. A Status Yellow rainfall warning is in place from now until noon on Saturday, and we can expected anything from 24-40mm of rain to fall over a 12-hour period.

While the rainfall will hit these counties most severely, the rest of the country won't exactly get off scot free.

Friday will stay dry enough throughout the day, until the evening where we will most likely see heavy rainfall, with a risk of some local flooding in parts.

Saturday will start off wet, but conditions should improve throughout the day with temperatures potentially reaching 19 degrees.

Sunday will be breezy and cool, and it seems to be setting the tone for next week, when we can expect heavy rain and hail showers in places.
