It's December 3 and snow has arrived in Ireland.
Earlier today, Met Éireann issued the
first snow warning of the winter with Donegal told to expect "heavy wintry showers of hail, sleet and snow", as well as "reduced visibility and accumulations likely in places."
However, this clip, taken by Twitter user Mike Marron, shows the white stuff falling a lot further south, specifically in Co. Clare. Posted to Twitter at 9.42am, it shows snow falling at an elevation of 180 metres, confirming earlier forecasts that snow would fall on high ground this week.

Earlier this week, Met Éireann issued a
nationwide weather advisory for 'sharp to severe frosts, stretches and some wintry showers', valid from 4pm on Wednesday until 11.59pm on Friday.
Additional warnings have been issued this morning, with Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo all under a snow/ice warning for tonight with 'falls of hail, sleet and snow' expected. As well as that, a status yellow wind warning has been issued for Clare, Cork, Kerry and Limerick.
