We knew things were bad, but this is insane.

A landlord from Cork is looking for a €10,000 deposit on a house that is only €750 a month to rent. That's just over 13 months rents by the way... What's the reason? Well, as you can hear in the video below, the letting agent says it's "because they are not from the area". From this, he comes to the conclusion that he will be looking for a "big deposit of €8,000 to €10,000". @Craicboimental posted the video on Twitter: https://twitter.com/craicboimental/status/1108064939820888064 He also told us that they were originally looking for a €20k deposit. The property is situated in Dunmanway, West Cork but the worst part is that the house is most definitely not worth that cash.   Although, if you fancy splashing that €10k, you can rent the property here.
