Weather Experts Talk About ‘Typhoon Jebi’ As Upcoming Irish Weather Forecast Revealed

It was feared that Ireland might get the tail end of a massive Typhoon which is clocking up speeds of 215km/h and that has already claimed lives.

The Typhoon in Japan had been tipped to bring a change to the Irish weather later this week.

The storm has already left hundreds of thousands of people without homes in Japan and has taken the lives of ten people so far.

As of Tuesday, winds had been clocked over the 200km/h mark with evacuation warnings being issued all over the country.

However, Carlow Weather has assured the country that we will not experience the Typhoon despite the suggestions that it could have a huge affect in the Irish weather.

Speaking to Lovin, the weather experts said that:

"There will be no direct impact from the Typhoon here in Ireland at all.

It may have some influence in the jet stream as was suggested but many things can influence that, [not just the Typhoon directly]."

Ireland is tipped to get a changeable few days over the coming week with rain and colder temperatures forecast for Thursday and Friday.

Saturday and Sunday will temperatures rise to at least 19 degrees with sunny spells in most places.
