The remains of the men were found near Coonanna pier close to Cahirsiveen. Members of the public raised the alarm at around 6pm on Sunday after spotting the upturned boat.

It is believed that all three men are Eastern European. One was in his 50s and the other two were in their 30s. They were on a fishing trip at the time of the incident.
