Gerry Adams has always had a seriously unique online personality, which for the most part has been shared via a quirky Twitter account documenting the mundane with the meaningful.

In a bid to stay ahead of the curve and get down with the kids he has now joined Snapchat. Yes, really.

Can we expect pictures of him in the bath with his rubber ducks? Only time will tell...
