The Irish Retriever Rescue is a wonderful charity dedicated to safeguarding the futures of abused, abandoned, neglected or unwanted golden retriever dogs.
And the work they do is honestly phenomenal.
During the week they shared photos of four stunning golden retrievers explaining that they needed homes, but that they must remain in their pairs.
"Desperately looking for adopters for pairs of middle aged dogs, we currently have 4 pairs of dogs that can't be split"
How beautiful are they?! And they obviously love each other so much they can't be separated.
We're so glad they're being kept together.
The post got an insanely positive response and the page was inundated with adoption offers and posted this follow-up:
Thank you all for your overwhelming response to the post about the pairs.
I have been flooded with hundreds of private messages and am working my through them, so please be patient for a response.
To clarify, we currently have 4 pairs of dogs and another pending. 3 pairs are currently in England and the other pair is currently in Ireland.
ALL these dogs are undergoing assessment and not ready for rehoming yet. Every single IRR dog is thoroughly assessed in a home environment to ensure that we can match them with the most suitable homes; other dogs, cats, children, being left alone etc.

Once the assessments have been completed over the next couple of weeks, I will start the matching process and get in touch with people.
Please remember that every adoption is subject to a successful homecheck, an adoption fee and the potential adopter travelling to meet any dog at their fosterer's home. We do not deliver or transport dogs part way.
The story made it into the Irish Times and now members from the charity are even set to be on telly tonight with Ray D'arcy!
They'll be joined by the beautiful Daisy and Millie golden retrievers, pictured above, at 9.30pm on RTÉ One.
