This Map Illustrates Just How Ridiculously Cold Ireland Is Right Now

We can all feel how feckin' freezing is it at the moment, but I'm not sure everyone is grasping just how cold it is.

Enter Joanna Donnelly, one of Ireland's favourite weather forecasters, who once shared a meteorological chart of Ireland coloured red from a massive heatwave.

Now she's gone and done the exact opposite to once again blow our collective minds.

We're not sure what's more shocking: the magnitude of the Arctic conditions assailing our island or a Met Éireann weatherperson using the word "y'all".

In all seriousness now, Donnelly raises an important point that over the next week the most at risk will be the elderly, animals and those sleeping on the streets, so do what you can for those vulnerable around you.
