This Is How Much The Average Irish Person Spends At Festivals Each Year

Have you already put some money aside for your festival exploits this summer?

Well, it might be an idea - as, according to The Herald, nearly a quarter of Irish adults will spend an average of €316 each at music festivals this summer - without factoring in the price of tickets.

Collectively, results have tallied up that Ireland's 800,000 festival-goers will spend a total of €253m this summer.

Yikes. 

The statistics also showed that festival-goers spend a mere 20% of their money on booze.

A third said the biggest spends were on waterproof tents, other camping gear and food.
