Well, it's a heck of a lot, according to the latest Central Statistic Figures (CSO), who has released special stats for Mother's Day.
It shows that almost half a million adult children are still nesting with mama and papa bird, and that 98,739 of those are unemployed, 180,703 were at work, and 137,967 are students.
The stats also show that the average age of first-time mothers in 2015 was almost 31 - compared to 27 years old in 2000.
