These Irish Attractions Are Among The Most Instagrammed Places In The World

It's a grand little country we live in.

The most Instagrammed places in the world have been revealed and our Emerald Isle features quite a bit on the list!

Although we didn't crack the top 50 in this list from Travelbird, we came pretty close. Here's what Irish attractions made it onto the 470 most Instagrammed places in the world:

Giant's Causeway, Antrim

The Giant's Causeway was a very respectable number 95 on the list with 128,029 Instagram tags. As one of Ireland's most unique and rugged landscapes, it's easy to see why it came out on top.

Guinness Storehouse, Dublin

Every tourist wants the perfect pint of Guinness so it's no surprise really that the home of the black stuff made it to number 151 on the list. It boasted 34,782 tags and we bet the vast majority of those were of that stunning skyline view from the Gravity Bar.

Tayto Park, Meath

This entry came as a bit of a surprise. Sure, we all love a good packet of Tayto and a go on the Cú Chulainn but would we Instagram it? Apparently, 16,797 people do and the infamous home of Mr Tayto came in at number 197 on the list.

Kilkenny Castle

It has been around for eight centuries and in that time, Kilkenny Castle racked up an impressive 14,207 Instagram tags ranking it number 208 overall. Go on the Cats!

Titanic, Belfast

Considering it only opening five years ago, it's pretty remarkable that Titanic Belfast rounds off the top five most Instagrammable place in Ireland. In half a decade, the attraction racked up 14,078 Instagram tags!

Kilmainham Gaol in Dublin, Tintern Abbey in Wexford, Meath's Trim Castle, the Powerscourt Gardens and House in Wicklow and Clonmacnoise in County Offaly also made it into the prestigious list.
