A rainfall warning has been issued for several counties across the country from tonight.
Met Éireann has issued a status 'yellow' warning from midnight and it's expected to last up to 24 hours.
Between 30mm - 50mm of heavy rain is expected and a warning has been put in place for Munster, Dublin, Carlow, Kildare, Louth, Wexford, Wicklow and Meath.

The warning from Met Éireann is separate to Storm Brian which is expected to hit Ireland on Friday evening into Saturday.
