The Summer I Turned Pretty producers are set to adapt a Cork author's book series.
Chloe Walsh’s popular Boys of Tommen novels are headed to our screens with Prime Video confirming the TV adaption yesterday.
Producers behind TV favourites like The Summer I Turned Pretty, One Day and Twilight will bring the romantic drama to life.
The novel is set in a fictional Cork town and the prestigious Tommen college.
The plot follows the forbidden relationship of Johnny Kavanagh, a charismatic rugby team star, and Shannon Lynch, a talented yet deeply shy newcomer trying to become familiar with her new school.
Season one will be based on the series' opening two books Binding 13 and Keeping 13, with scripts set to be adapted by Poppy Cogan (A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder).
The show will be a Prime Video exclusive and will be available in over 240 countries and territories worldwide.
A release date is yet been confirmed.
