It is now less than 24 hours until Ireland is expected to feel the first effects of Ophelia which could still be a tropical hurricane by the time it hits shore.

The storm will start to make landfall early Monday. While it will likely cover the entire country it is the South West of the country that will be hardest hit...

There are currently five counties (Galway, Mayo, Clare, Cork and Kerry) with the highest red weather warning in place...

The storm now has a 100% probability of hitting Ireland according to computer models...
