The Irish Village Where Men Have ‘Raging Erections’ Has Inspired A New Comedy Movie

Earlier this month a reports that men in a village in Cork were getting erections from the fumes of a local Viagra factory went viral.

“One whiff and you’re stiff. We’ve been getting the love fumes for years now for free,” is how one local described the phenomenon in Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork.

Apparently event the dogs “walk around in a state of sexual excitement”. Yikes.

Now it seems that those rumours have inspired a comedy movie set in Donegal...

Love in Kilnerry is a new movie set for release in 2018 that's based on a screenplay written by New York-based Daniel Keith. 

The film, which was originally set in Donegal but has been changed to an American town, tells the story of a scenario VERY similar to that in Cork.

"The elderly residents of a small remote town panic when the EPA announces that changes to their chemical plant could cause an extreme increase in their libido. The sheriff tries to maintain order and decency, but mayhem ensues."

“I wanted to make a storybook movie my grandmother or people of all ages would think was funny,” Keith. “A story like this has never been done before.

“We had incredible theater and film actors that were hysterical.”

Down with that sort of thing, etc.
