The Amount Of People Who Have Injured Themselves Taking Selfies Is Ridiculous

Is it really that important to capture the moment?

The Irish Medical Journal has released information on four cases in which people broke their arms taking selfies in the west of Ireland last summer.

They involve:

- A 13-year-old girl who fell on her right hand while taking a selfie on a trampoline

- A 17-year-old girl who fell while taking a selfie running up steps

- A 27-year-old sportswoman who fell while taking a selfie with team-mates on a staircase

- A 40-year-old woman who fell on uneven ground while taking a selfie at a well-known tourist attraction
