Supermac's has pledged to provide free meals to members of the emergency services in a social media post that was issued last night.
Irish fast food chain Supermac's has stated that members of the emergency services can avail of free meals at any of its outlets around the country. In a post issued on Sunday evening, the company said that 'Supermac's will provide free meals to members of the emergency services in recognition and appreciation of the effort that is being made by each and every one of them at this challenging time.'

It is, of course, a trying time for everybody, not least those working on the frontline of the Covid-19 crisis and gestures like this will no doubt be appreciated.
Last night, it was confirmed that
all pubs will be closing until March 29 as the government continues to deal with the ongoing situation. Gestures like this one by Supermacs and
other outlets around the country at least show us that there's still some kindness out there among the doom and gloom.
