Storm Jorge has already exceeded the status red warning in Galway.
Everything is starting to pick up as Storm Jorge hits and it will continue for the next couple of hours.
Met Éireann has taken to twitter with updates and they have revealed that the station in Mace Head in Galway has exceeded the status red warnings levels.
They have also said that "dangerous conditions expected to continue for the next few hours".

Earlier they announced that there were eight warnings for today across the country.
