Conor McGregor has been going at it with Khabib Nurmagomedov on social media.
McGregor and Nurmagomedov may well share the fiercest rivalry in UFC history and the hostility between the pair shows no signs of easing any time soon.
McGregor is determined to secure a rematch with Nurmagomedov but the undefeated UFC lightweight champion has little interest in running it back with the Irishman after dominating McGregor in the main event of UFC 229.
'The Notorious' reignited the war of words with Nurmagomedov over the weekend when a teammate of 'The Eagle' - Islam Makhachev - posted and deleted tweet in which he suggested that mixed martial arts was "not a woman's sport."
McGregor, who was involved in a post-fight melee with Makhachev after UFC 229, reacted furiously to the social media post and defended the UFC strawweight title fight between Weili Zhang and Joanna Jędrzejczyk.
