An Unbelievable Amount Of Rubbish Was Left Behind At Slane

Concertgoers at Slane Castle left a shocking amount of litter behind after the show on Saturday night. Metallica played an incredible set to a sold-out crowd of 75,000 people, which sadly resulted in thousands of plastic cups being discarded. 'This needs to stop, a deposit refund scheme needs to be put in place at all large outdoor events.’ Metallica made headlines this week after it was announced that they had donated a massive €35,000 to the Capuchin Day Centre in Dublin, as well as another €35,000 to Childline over the weekend.
